Does climate change play a role in your life? Do you even notice it? Are you indifferent to it? What gives you hope and what worries you? We would like to see as many different perspectives as possible represented in our echo group. We will compile short video portraits based on the group’s discussions.
What do you get in return?
- Exciting discussions with others
- Insights into the Natural History Museum of Bern
- An invitation to the opening event for you and a companion
- Flat-rate remuneration of CHF 350
- Delicious food and travel expenses
Get in touch if you need childcare, translation, or anything else to take part. On request, children can come to the meetings with a caregiver.
How much work does this involve for you?
The group will meet on the following dates:
- Kick-off: Thursday, May 15, 6 to 9 pm
- Workshop: Saturday, May 24, 10 am to 4 pm
- Video shoot: Saturday, June 14 or Sunday, June 15, 10 am to 5 pm (1 hour per person)
- Looking ahead: Saturday, August 23, 2 pm to 5 pm
After the meetings, we would like to keep in touch with you and the echo group. Over the following years, we will meet once a year for a get-together and to update the videos. We will discuss and decide on the exact procedure together.
How will we put the group together?
- Get in touch with us by March 30, 2025 via email or using the online form
- We will put together a group of people with as wide a range of experiences and perspectives as possible
- We’ll let you know by April 4, 2025 at the latest if you’ll be included
As a natural history museum, we are guided by scientific consensus. In the process, we do not provide a platform for statements that question the reality of man-made climate change.
